My first little DIY update in the house!
The house came with a lot of items, which was awesome because we didn't have much. One of those items that was just screaming for a makeover was the light fixture in the living room. So I called on one of my closest friends - ORB (oil-rubbed bronze) spray paint.
I didn't get a very good before picture..but here is where I remembered after taking the globes off and putting paper towel in the sockets.
My lovely assistant helped me hang it up in the garage. I likely should have put it in the corner with plastic behind, but I was feeling risky and was just excited to start spraying! But I did manage to take a few pics of the process, including my weapon of choice. Paint+Primer In One = Immediate best friend of mine!
I did two thin and even coats and Mr.Light was looking mighty spiffy. A whole new light fixture for roughly $10.00! Does it get any better than that?
